Aterian Investment Partners and Craft Work Capital Complete Sale of Rogers Building Solutions

New York, NY and Miami, FL (August 4, 2025) — Aterian Investment Partners (“Aterian”) and Craft Work Capital (“Craft Work”), together through their joint venture, are pleased to announce the sale of Rogers Building Solutions (“Rogers” or the “Company”) to GHK Capital Partners LP (“GHK”), a leading middle-market private equity firm.

Rogers is a leading provider of specialty mechanical, HVAC and plumbing installation, retrofit, renovation, and maintenance and repair services to commercial and industrial end-markets across the Southeast. The Company serves as a trusted partner to a variety of blue-chip customers in essential end markets such as healthcare, data center, education, distribution centers, and manufacturing. Rogers was founded in 1962 and is headquartered in Douglasville, Georgia.

Following the acquisition of Rogers from the original third-generation founding family in 2020, Craft Work and Aterian worked alongside management to build a highly professionalized, diversified, and sustainable growth platform.  This was achieved through acquiring Coastal Mechanical in Melbourne, Florida and acquiring Sluss & Padgett in Norcross, Georgia.  Furthermore, the Company was successful in recruiting key industry and functional leaders to help drive robust growth in key markets such as data centers and healthcare.  Additionally, the Company heavily invested in the growth of a preventative maintenance and repair services segment.  Rogers today is a diversified and professionalized platform that is well-positioned to continue driving strong long-term growth as a trusted facility services partner to its broad customer base.

“We are thankful for the stewardship and support that Aterian and Craft Work provided strategically and organizationally as we worked together to grow Rogers. This transaction solidifies a highly successful partnership between Aterian, Craft Work, the family-founders and the management team,” said Mike Grabham, CEO of Rogers. “We look forward to further executing on our strategy with GHK and continuing to provide best-in-class service for our customers.”

Michael Fieldstone, Co-Founder and Partner at Aterian, stated, “It has been a privilege to work with the Rogers team over the past five years. We are extremely proud of the expansion that the organization has achieved under our ownership, while continuing to prioritize the customer and people-first mentality innate to each of the businesses acquired. We wish the entire Rogers and GHK teams well and for success in their journey ahead.”

Dave Orinski, President and Partner at Craft Work, added, “The success of our partnership with Rogers is a demonstration of the value creation that stems from partnering with veteran strategic partners with decades of specialty contractor experience. We are proud of our collective work alongside the Rogers team to complete the expansion and professionalization of the Company and position it for continued success in its growing end markets.”

Fifth Third Securities, Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP, and Plante Moran advised Rogers on the transaction.
